Yes, Run UA is open to anyone who wants to register. You do not have to attend University Academy or live in SweetBay to register.

Yes! Run UA has races for all runners, walkers and age groups. You can choose from the 10k, 5k or 1 mile fun run distances.

You can email runua@university-academy.org to make the changes for you. Please note, shirt sizes are not guaranteed.

Yes! The transfer deadline is February 28. You can email runua@university-academy.org to make the transfer.

Unfortunately we do not offer refunds for registration.

This is a rain or shine charity event. There are no refunds.  

Yes, there is an age limit to register for the Children's 1 Mile Fun Run. It is for 12-year-olds and younger. 

Yes, you may run with your child. Please be aware of other children and give room to others.

Yes. You will need to provide the QR code of the participant whose packet you are picking up. All registered runners will receive a QR code in their email leading up to bib pick up. 

Yes! Please arrive early to pick up your BIB and race shirt. It will be at the registration tent.

No. All registrations and race shirts must be picked up in-person on the designated packet pick-up days.

Please provide the QR code sent to your email when picking up your packet.

Yes, the races are professionally timed.

Yes! Awards include male and female prizes for overall, masters and grandmasters winners.

We give awards for three deep in the following age groups for the 10k and 5k, and:

10K: 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over.

5K: 6-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over.

Yes. You will be directed to start behind all runners and walkers to keep everyone safe.

Although we discourage headphones for the safety of our runners, they are not prohibited.

No. This is to keep our runners and our fur babies safe.

No, bandits are not allowed and will be banned .

Participants have 2 hours from the start to complete the course.

Public parking is available in SweetBay but is extremely limited. We encourage to use the following locations for parking: University Academy, (1980 Discovery Loop, Panama City, FL 32405); the Residences at SweetBay, (3100 SweetBay Avenue Panama City, FL 32405) and the Florida Army National Guard, (3121 Lisenby Avenue, Panama City, FL 32405).

Please note that Discovery Loop will be closed from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM.  

All registered participants will receive:

• Custom Race Medal
• Exclusive Drawstring Bag Presented by SweetBay
• High-Quality, super soft Race T-Shirt

For safety reasons, the following are strictly prohibited on the race course:

• Dogs
• Bicycles
• Skates
• Skateboards 
• Golf Carts

Culligan Water and an electrolyte drink are available at each fuel station along the course.
